Description

Poor visibility in blowing dust is expected.

What: reduced visibility in blowing dust.

Where: southern Saskatchewan and southern Manitoba

When: This afternoon and this evening

Comments: Strong westerly winds are causing reduced visibilities in blowing dust this afternoon. Blowing dust is expected for most of the day until winds abate late this evening.

Travel will likely be hazardous in some locations. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced at times. Poor air quality is expected.

Dust storms can strike suddenly. Dust storm warnings are issued when widespread poor visibility in blowing dust is expected.
