Description

Snow possible over some highway passes

What:
Trace amounts to 4 cm of snow

When:
Early Tuesday morning till Wednesday morning

Where:
- Pennask Summit
- Kootenay Pass

Additional information:
An upper disturbance will pass over Southern B.C. and could bring some snow to some high elevation highway passes. Snow levels are set to lower to around 1700 metres overnight tonight and will linger till Wednesday. Kootenay Pass is most likely to see potential snow accumulation Tuesday afternoon, whereas Pennask Summit is more likely to see snow accumulation Tuesday overnight.

Visibility will likely be reduced at times. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Allow extra time for travel.
