Heavy rain is expected Friday night and Saturday in the BC Peace Region.

Threat: Potential rainfall of 40 to 60 mm may cause localized flooding, high streamflows and a risk of debris flows.

Remarks: A narrow band of rain associated with a low pressure system tracking across BC and Alberta will bring rain, at times heavy, to northeastern BC tomorrow. Rain will begin in the afternoon and continue through Saturday afternoon. The position of the band of rain and amounts are uncertain at this time.
