Description

Poor visibility in snow and blowing snow is expected in some locations.

What:
Gusty northerly winds combined with falling snow resulting in visibility less than 500 metres in blowing snow

When:
Sunday

Where:
- Highway 97 through Pine Pass
- McLeod Lake

Additional information:
An Arctic front pushing through the Rockies will generate strong, gusty northerly winds. An upper front bringing snow on Sunday will then combine with the winds to generate visibilities less than 500 metres in blowing snow across the region.

Conditions will improve Sunday afternoon as the winds diminish.

Travel will likely be hazardous due to near-zero visibility.
