Hazardous winter conditions are expected.
What:
- Near 15 to 20 cm of snow
- Near zero visibility in blowing snow
- Strong, gusty northeasterly winds
- Wind chill down to minus 25 to minus 30
When:
Now to Wednesday morning.
Where:
Highway 97 - Pine Pass, and B.C. Peace.
Additional information:
A deep low pressure system moving across interior B.C. will bring heavy snow to northeastern regions tonight. Strong easterly or northeasterly winds gusting to 60 km/h will accompany this system resulting in near zero visibility at times in blowing snow.
The heavy snow and blowing snow will ease late Wednesday morning as the system moves further east into the Prairies.

Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times.
