A long period of snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected.

What: Heavy snow and reduced visibility.

Where: Watson Lake and Cassiar Mountains including Swift River and Jade City.

When: Now through Sunday.

Remarks: An approaching storm system is bringing snow to the area. Snow will intensify this evening and continue Sunday. By late Sunday afternoon, total snowfall amounts up to 25 cm can be expected with lesser amounts near 15 cm at Jade City.

More snow may be on the way Sunday night and Monday as another system is forecast to arrive.
