The low will produce 50 mm of rain beginning this morning. The heavy rain will ease Sunday morning. ### Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Local utility outages are possible. Damaging winds are expected.

Strong southeasterly winds gusting to 90 km/h.

Where:
East Vancouver Island - Nanoose Bay to Fanny Bay
East Vancouver Island - Courtenay to Campbell River
Sunshine Coast

When: This afternoon through tonight.

Remarks:
Another strong low pressure system is heading towards the South Coast. As the low moves inland, strong southeasterly winds 70 km/h gusting to 90 will develop this afternoon then ease near midnight.
