A frontal system will remain over East Vancouver Island near Parksville tonight. Wet snow falling over the area will begin to accumulate over the inland sections as the snow rate intensifies. Snow will taper off early Friday morning as the front exits the region. Local snowfall accumulation 5 cm can be expected for this event.
