Description

Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm.

Where: Coquihalla Highway from Hope to Merritt.

When: Continuing this evening.

Remarks: Snow is forecast near the Coquihalla summit this evening due to low freezing levels and ample moisture associated with a passing low pressure system. Up to 5 cm has already fallen and a further 10 cm is forecast before the snow eases near midnight tonight.

Other hazards: Strong winds at times will accompany this system and give limited visibility in blowing snow.
