Description

Heavy rain continues, with additional amounts of 20 to 50 mm expected through Tuesday.

Since Saturday evening, generally between 40 and 110 mm has been reported across the province so far. Storm total rainfall will be in the 50 to 100 mm range for most regions. Localized total amounts up to 150 mm are possible, particularly for areas east of Edmonton and southwest of Calgary.

Rain will become lighter starting Tuesday morning but moderate rain will continue into early Wednesday morning for some areas.

The Alberta River Forecast Centre provides information on current stream flow conditions and alerts. Check Alberta 511 for road conditions.

Water will pool on roads and in low-lying areas.
