Description

Dangerous snow squalls continue to affect the region.

What:
Near zero visibility in snow and blowing snow at times
Additional local snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm.
Snowfall rates of 5 cm per hour.

When:
Continuing tonight through Thursday.

Additional information:
Snow squalls have returned to the region and are expected to remain through Thursday. The highest snowfall accumulations are expected tonight and Thursday morning.

Travel will likely be extremely hazardous and some routes will likely be impassable. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Road closures are likely.
