Description

Snow expected later Friday morning and afternoon.

What:
Brief snowfall rates of 2 to 4 cm per hour.
Reduced visibility in areas of heavy snow.
Total snowfall amounts of 5 to 8 cm.

When:
Beginning later Friday morning and diminishing Friday afternoon.

Additional information:
Although total snowfall amounts are not expected to be overly significant, the hourly snowfall rates may result in roads and highways becoming quickly snow covered and slippery. Hazardous travel conditions are expected.

Snow is expected to diminish in intensity Friday afternoon and will likely change to rain showers as temperatures rise above the freezing mark.

Falling temperatures Friday night may lead to icy roads and sidewalks.

Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
