Yellow Warning - Snowfall
Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected.
Periods of heavy snow.
When: Late this afternoon until Monday afternoon.

Remarks:
A frontal system combined with cool air will bring significant snow to the region. The snow will begin late this afternoon and will intensify into the evening. The snowfall amount for tonight is expected to be 10 to 15 cm, with another 5 to 10 cm expected Monday morning. The snow will turn to rain by late Monday morning or early Monday afternoon as temperatures warm.
Additionally, rainfall Monday afternoon through Tuesday, in combination with snowmelt and freezing levels rising to near 2000 metres, could lead to localized flooding in valleys and in low lying areas.

Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Visibility will likely be reduced at times.
