What: Widespread fog reducing visibility to near zero.

Where: East Vancouver Island, Greater Victoria, Southern Gulf Islands, Malahat Highway.

Additional information:
A ridge of high pressure over the south coast is trapping cool and humid marine air near the surface. As a result, widespread fog has formed. Conditions are expected to improve later this morning as a weak front mixes some of the moisture out.
