- Exposed coastal sections of East Vancouver Island - Courtenay to Campbell River
- Exposed coastal sections of Sunshine Coast - Saltery Bay to Powell River
- Inland Vancouver near Gold River and Highway 28, Alberni Valley.

Additional information:
Southeast winds will sharply rise to 70 km/h gusting to 90 late this morning as a deep low pressure system passes over northern Vancouver Island. As the low makes landfall on the mainland coast, winds will subside below warning criteria late this afternoon.
