Description
What: Higher than average tides in the morning will result in minor tidal overflow and local beach flooding. Additionally, elevated surf of 4 to 6 feet through high tide this morning will increase the risk for tidal overflow.
Where: San Diego County coastal areas.
When: Through 10 AM PST Monday morning.
Impacts: Minor tidal overflow, beach flooding, and coastal erosion most likely during times of high tides.
Additional Details: Predicted high tides at La Jolla: 6.4 feet at 946 AM Monday.
Recommended Action
Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
