Total rainfall: 30 to 50 mm, possibly higher in thundershowers.

Time span: intensifying tonight, continuing into Friday.

Remarks: Rain will reach the Halifax Metro region just after midnight. A few thundershowers may develop tonight, possibly leading to rainfall rates of 5 to 10 mm per hour over some areas. Rain will taper off from west to east through the day on Friday.
