Risk of snow squalls and difficult road conditions

What: Bands of heavy snow sometimes accompanied by blowing snow could reduce visibilities to almost zero. Accumulations of nearly 5 centimetres are possible in a short period of time.

When: Between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Additional information: Snow squalls cause very variable weather conditions. Conditions often go from clear skies to an area of heavy snow in just a few kilometres.

Snow squall watches are issued when localized, intense snowfall causing rapid accumulation and/or reduced visibility is possible.
