Significant rain continuing into Tuesday.
Total 3-day rainfall amount: 30 to 70 mm, possibly higher.
Locations: Nova Scotia.
Time span: persisting into Tuesday.
Remarks: An intensifying low pressure system southwest of Nova Scotia will continue to bring significant rainfall to most of the province tonight. Rain will begin to taper off on Tuesday morning.
Downpours can cause localized flooding and water pooling on roads. Heavy rainfall after a long dry period can cause streams and creeks to swell quickly.
