Description

Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected.

Where: Highway 3 Kootenay Pass.

When: Beginning this afternoon; lasting until late tomorrow night.

Remarks: Falling freezing levels will accompany an influx of moisture today as a low pressure system crosses the province from northwest to southeast. Snow will begin as lighter flurries this morning and intensify this afternoon.

Other hazards: Strong winds at times will accompany this system and give limited visibility in blowing snow.
