Description

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS EXTENDED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 520 TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING AREAS UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING IN WISCONSIN THIS WATCH INCLUDES 7 COUNTIES IN SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN DODGE JEFFERSON KENOSHA MILWAUKEE RACINE WALWORTH WAUKESHA THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BEAVER DAM, BROOKFIELD, DELAVAN, EAST TROY, ELKHORN, FORT ATKINSON, JEFFERSON, KENOSHA, LAKE GENEVA, MAYVILLE, MENOMONEE FALLS, MILWAUKEE, MUSKEGO, NEW BERLIN, RACINE, WATERTOWN, WAUKESHA, WAUPUN, AND WHITEWATER.

Description

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for southeastern and east central Wisconsin. Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for Fond du Lac and Dodge Counties!
