Description

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Washington Naches River near Naches affecting Yakima County. For the Naches Riverincluding Nache
S: Moderate flooding is forecast.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
Where: Naches River near Naches.
When: Until late Sunday evening.
Impacts: At 19.0 feet, Moderate flooding is possible from Cliffdell downstream to Yakima.
Additional Details: - At 2:45 PM PDT Thursday the stage was 18.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:45 PM PDT Thursday was 18.1 feet. - ForecastThe river will rise to 19.1 feet late Saturday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday afternoon and then to 17.1 feet Tuesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 17.8 feet. - Flood HistoryThis crest compares to a previous crest of 19.0 feet on 11/30/1995. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
