Description

At 437 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 27 miles north of Castle Valley, moving northeast at 45 mph.
Hazard: Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
Source: Radar indicated.
Impact: Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include Cisco. This includes the following highway
S: Interstate 70 in Utah between mile markers 204 and 228. Utah 128 between mile markers 35 and 44.

Recommended Action

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
