SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 293 REMAINS VALID UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN OKLAHOMA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 2 COUNTIES IN THE PANHANDLE OF OKLAHOMA CIMARRON TEXAS IN TEXAS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 3 COUNTIES IN THE PANHANDLE OF TEXAS DALLAM HANSFORD SHERMAN THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BOISE CITY, CONLEN, DALHART, GRUVER, GUYMON, KEYES, SPEARMAN, STRATFORD, AND WARE.

Description

At 638 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Dalhart, moving northeast at 25 mph.
Hazard: 60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
Source: Radar indicated.
Impact: Minor damage to roofs, siding, and trees is possible. Locations impacted include Dalhart, Hartley, Ware, Romero, and Conlen.

Recommended Action

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
