Description

The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texa
S: Neches River Near Diboll affecting Polk, Trinity and Angelina Counties. For the Neches Riverincluding Neches, Alto, Diboll, Rockland Minor flooding is forecast.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Neches River near Diboll.
When: From this afternoon to late Sunday night.
Impacts: At 12.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs. Expect flooded boat ramps and trails.
Additional Details: - At 1:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.0 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 1:15 PM CDT Saturday was 12.0 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.1 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood HistoryThis crest compares to a previous crest of 12.1 feet on 05/21/1956. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
