Description
What: Snow and patchy blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches.
Where: Portions of central and north central South Dakota.
When: From 1 AM CDT /midnight MDT/ Wednesday to 1 PM CDT /noon MDT/ Thursday.
Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions. The combination of falling snow and winds will lead to periods of blowing snow that may briefly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.
Recommended Action
Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
