Flood Advisory
What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
Where: East Central Chesterfield County in central South Carolina
When: Until 400 AM EDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 209 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2.5 inches of rain have fallen since midnight. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Cheraw, Cheraw State Park, Northeastern Technical College and Cheraw Fish Hatchery. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
