Description

What: Hot conditions with afternoon high temperatures of 95 to 105 degrees. This will pose a moderate to major risk of heat-related illness.
Where: Blue Mountains of Oregon and Washington, Wallowa County, Ochoco-John Day Highlands, and Lower Slopes of the Eastern Washington Cascades Crest.
When: Until 10 PM PDT this evening.
Impacts: Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

Recommended Action

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
