What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
Where: Portions of north central Kansas, including the following counties, Jewell and Mitchell and Nebraska, including the following counties, Adams, Buffalo, Clay, Fillmore, Franklin, Greeley, Hall, Hamilton, Howard, Kearney, Merrick, Nance, Nuckolls, Polk, Sherman, Thayer, Valley, Webster and York.
When: From 7 PM CDT this evening through Sunday morning.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
Additional Details: - Saturday evening into Sunday morning, at least a few rounds of thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are likely within the Watch area. Portions of the Watch area are expected to receive at least 1 to 3 inches of rain in a fairly short time this evening and overnight, on top of as much as 1 to 3 inches of rain that has already fallen or will yet fall during the daytime hours Saturday in parts of the area. As a result, 24 hour total rainfall by sunrise Sunday could end up being as high as 2 to 6 inches.
