RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 7
Pm Cdt Thursday Due To Wind And Low Relative Humidity For A Portion Of Northeast Nebraska:
What: South winds 26 to 36 mph with peak gusts up to 47 mph, Relative Humidity as low as 23 percent.
Where: A portion of northeast Nebraska.
When: From 10 AM to 7 PM CDT Thursday.
Impacts: Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Recommended Action

A red flag warning is issued when we identify weather conditions that promote rapid spread of fire which may become life-threatening. This does not mean there is a fire. These conditions are either occurring now or will begin soon. It is important to have multiple ways to receive information from authorities.
