Critical fire weather conditions are expected Tuesday in central North Dakota and the James River Valley due to northwest winds of 20 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph, and relative humidity values as low as 20 percent. Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become difficult to control. Humidity values will gradually increase overnight, and winds will decrease in most areas.
