Description
What: Heat index values up to 105 expected.
Where: Portions of southeast Kansas and southwest and west central Missouri.
When: From 1 PM this afternoon to 8 PM CDT this evening.
Impacts: Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
