What: Moderate flooding is forecast.
Where: Missouri River at Jefferson City.
When: From Sunday afternoon to Thursday morning.
Impacts: At 26.3 feet, State Route 179 near Sandy Hook is closed due to flooding. Also, State Highway K one mile east of McBaine in Boone County is closed.
Additional Details: - At 9:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 11.8 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage Sunday afternoon to a crest of 25.6 feet early Tuesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
