Description
What: Temperatures in the mid 30s will result in frost formation.
Where: Coastal Washington County.
When: From 3 AM to 8 AM EDT Sunday.
Impacts: Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
Additional Details: Locations along Route 1 with little influence from the Gulf of Maine waters and within valleys have a better chance of seeing frost. Locations along the immediate shoreline are less likely to experience frost.
Recommended Action
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
