Description
What: Breaking waves of 5 to 7 ft will result in rough surf conditions and a high risk of rip currents.
Where: In Maryland, coastal Worcester County. In Virginia, Virginia Beach, and Accomack and Northampton Counties.
When: Until 8 PM EDT this evening.
Impacts: Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.
Recommended Action
Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
