Description

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana Illinoi
S: East Fork White River at Seymour. White River at Petersburg down to Hazleton. Wabash River at Vincennes down to Mount Carmel. .Recent, mainly light to moderate rainfalland additional areas of to widespread heavy rainfall amounts up to three inches total over southern Indiana through midday Saturdayis expected to prolong minor flooding or bring an additional crest on the lower White, lower Wabash, and at Seymour on the East Fork White. Minor flooding could continue into early next week on portions of the lower White and lower Wabash.
What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: East Fork White River at Seymour.
When: From Sunday afternoon to late Monday morning.
Impacts: At 12.0 feet, Significant agricultural lands begins to flood. High water affects some local roads.
Additional Details: - At 8:45 PM EDT Friday the stage was 7.7 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage early Sunday afternoon to a crest of 12.1 feet Sunday evening. Recommended Action

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
