S: Pecatonica River at Freeport affecting Stephenson County.
What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Pecatonica River at Freeport.
When: From Thursday morning to early Saturday morning.
Impacts: At 13.0 feet, water affects low lying sections of Freeport mainly east of the Pecatonica River.
Additional Details: - At 11:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 11.1 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 13.2 feet tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Friday night. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

At 634 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 2 miles south of Winslow, or 12 miles southwest of Monroe, moving northeast at 25 mph. This storm has produced a funnel cloud in northwest Stephenson County.
Hazard: Tornado and quarter size hail.

Impact: Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This dangerous storm will be near Winslow around 640 PM CDT.
