What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Iowa River at Wapello.
When: From Saturday evening to Wednesday morning.
Impacts: At 21.0 feet, agricultural land near the river is flooded and water covers most islands. Water starts rising onto secondary roads in Wapello Bottoms.
Additional Details: - At 10:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 20.0 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow evening to a crest of 21.7 feet early Monday morning, then slowly fall into early next week. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
