Description

At 545 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Surrency, moving northeast at 40 mph.
Hazard: Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph and excessive cloud-to-ground lightning.
Source: Radar indicated.
Impact: Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is occurring. Locations impacted include Baxley and Surrency.

Recommended Action

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
