Description

What: Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
Where: Teller, El Paso, Fremont, Crowley, Kiowa, Otero, Huerfano, and Las Animas Counties, the Wet Mountain Valley and southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
When: From Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday evening.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Additional Details: - Areas of heavy rainfall occurred on Tuesday leading to saturated grounds. Additional heavy rainfall from thunderstorms today may lead to continued flash flooding, especially in low lying, flood prone areas. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
