Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. Excessive runoff and debris flow will be possible over the Willow Burn scar, as well as areas surrounding the Chalk Cliffs.
Where: A portion of central Colorado, including the following areas, Eastern Sawatch Mountains Above 11000 Feet, Lake County Below 11000 Feet, and Western Chaffee County Between 9000 and 11000 Feet.
When: From noon MDT today through this evening.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Additional Details: - Widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected Wednesday afternoon and evening, with heavy rainfall posing a flash flooding risk over susceptible areas. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
