Description

What: Temperatures as low as 33 will result in frost formation.
Where: Del Norte, Humboldt, and Mendocino Coast, Humboldt Interior, Interior Del Norte, and Southwestern Interior Mendocino.
When: From 1 AM to 9 AM PDT Thursday.
Impacts: Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
Additional Details: Some valleys, especially closer to the coast, may experience low cloud cover and/or fog, which will limit the potential for frost.

Recommended Action

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
