Flood Advisory
What: Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
Where: West Central Humboldt County in northwestern California Until 800 PM PST Wednesday.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 133 PM PST, Local officials reported small stream flooding in the advisory area on Highway 36 near Carlotta and in the Ferndale area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches with up to 0.6 inch per hour rainfall rates are expected over the area. This additional heavy rainfall will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding includeHighway 36 near Carlotta, the Eel River Delta, and other low lying locations. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
