THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED TORNADO WATCH 177 UNTIL 1 AM CDT WEDNESDAY WHICH REPLACES A PORTION OF TORNADO WATCH 170. Tornado Warning

Description

At 627 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 9 miles northwest of Arkinda, or 13 miles west of Horatio, moving east at 35 mph.
Hazard: Tornado and two inch hail.
Source: Radar indicated rotation.
Impact: Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include Horatio, Winthrop, Arkinda, Haworth, Cerrogordo, Shinewell, West Otis, America, Moon, Bokhoma and Goodwater.
