Description

What: Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 8 inches. Locally higher amounts up to 10 inches possible. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
Where: Portions of central, northeast, northern, and southeast West Virginia.
When: From 4 PM this afternoon to 10 AM EST Thursday.
Impacts: Travel could be very difficult. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
