Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: Southwestern Allegheny County in southwestern Pennsylvania Central Washington County in southwestern Pennsylvania Ohio County in northern West Virginia
When: Until 400 PM EDT.
Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
Additional Details: - At 114 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated rainfall had ended across the warned area. Earlier, emergency management reported several instances of flooding across the warned area due. Flooding is ongoing. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Washington, Canonsburg, Avella, Wolfdale, McGovern, Bentleyville, East Washington, New Eagle, Baidland, Houston, Ellsworth, Claysville, Deemston, Eighty Four, Cokeburg, Hickory, Beallsville and West Alexander. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Recommended Action

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
