Description

What: Temperatures as low as 32 degrees will result in frost formation. The frost is favored in low-lying and bog locations with temperatures possibly 5 to 10 degrees warmer at higher elevations.
Where: Jackson and Monroe Counties.
When: From 2 AM to 8 AM CDT Monday.
Impacts: Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

Recommended Action

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
