Description

What: Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
Where: Southwestern Marathon County in central Wisconsin Northwestern Wood County in central Wisconsin
When: Until 1045 AM CDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 838 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Marshfield, Mosinee, Spencer, Stratford, Hewitt, Auburndale, Rozellville, Bakerville, Big Eau Pleine County Park, Halder, Nasonville, Moon, Lindsey and Peplin. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Recommended Action

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
