Recommended Action
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. To escape rising water, take the shortest path to higher ground. Even 6 inches of fast-moving flood water can knock you off your feet and a depth of 2 feet will float your car. Never try to walk, swim, or drive through such swift water. If you come upon flood waters, stop, turn around and go another way. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Description

Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity for the following rivers in Wisconsin Rock River At Fort Atkinson affecting Jefferson County.
: Forecast flooding changed from Moderate to Major severity for the following rivers in Wisconsin Rock River At Watertown affecting Jefferson County.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
Where: Rock River at Fort Atkinson.
When: Until further notice.
Impacts: At 17.0 feet, Floodwaters are in the back yards of some homes on Rogers Street on the northeast side of Fort Atkinson and water surrounds a few homes and businesses at the end of Vets Lane near the intersection of Hwy 106 and Blackhawk Island Rd. These roads are flooded in the Fort Atkinson area: Sinissippi Drive, Vets Ln, Fox Hill Rd, Bark River Road from Kutz Road to Rock River Road, Rock River Rd from Milwaukee Ave E to Hwy 106, North Shore Rd, Ralph Rd. The river walkway in Fort Atkinson becomes flooded.

Description

The National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan WI has issued a Flood Watch for the following rivers in Wisconsin Fox River At Princeton affecting Green Lake County.
: The Flood Watch is extended for the following rivers in Wisconsin Rock River Near Lake Koshkonong affecting Rock and Jefferson Counties.
What: Flooding is possible.
Where: Rock River near Lake Koshkonong.
When: From late tonight until further notice.
Impacts: At 11.3 feet, There is knee-deep water over Blackhawk Island Road. Lamp Road on west side of river also becomes flooded. Lake Koshkonong merges with Mud Lake to the east of Lake Koshkonong.
Additional Details: - At 10:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 9.4 feet. - ForecastFlood stage may be reached late tonight. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Impacts: At 9.0 feet, Water approaches some homes in Milford. There is widespread flooding of roads in Riverbend Campground, about 5 miles upstream of Milford.
