Snow Along Mountains Passes Will Affect Holiday Travel Through Wednesday: A return of an active weather pattern with an associated atmospheric river is expected to impact the Cascades, most notably over the Washington Cascades. Moderate rain favored, with amounts between 0.5-1 inch (60-80% confidence) at the Cascade crest with lesser amounts found at the lower elevations. Precipitation over the Cascades will transition to snow this evening as snow levels drop to 2000-3000 feet. Snowfall totals through Wednesday are favored to be 3-5 inches (60-80% confidence).
