Per coordination with our partners, the recent dry weather has caused fine dead fuels across the region to dry out. On Thursday, northwest winds will gusts up to 25 mph across valley areas of southern Vermont along with relative humidity values as low as 25 to 30 percent. If any fires were to start the weather and fuel conditions could cause fires to quickly get out of control and be difficult to contain.
